Abstract

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi promover a avaliação do passivo ambiental do Projeto de Assentamento Porto Alonso e abordar as condições sócio-ambientais deste projeto de assentamento de reforma agrária. Utilizou-se dados e informações ambientais referente ao licenciamento ambiental, situação cadastral dos assentados, área de reserva legal, áreas de preservação permanente, área passível de conversão e as medidas adotadas para a recuperação e compensação do passivo ambiental dessas áreas. Abordou-se também as condições sócio-ambientais em que se encontra o projeto e as respectivas políticas publicas que poderiam estar sendo implementadas para garantir a sustentabilidade ecológica econômica, garantindo dessa forma, a condição para o desenvolvimento sustentável.------------------------------------------------------------ This paper aims to provide the evaluation of the passive environmental and approach the socio-economic conditions of an agrarian assettlement project. Data related to the environmental certification, settled registering status, certified resevered area, preservation permanent areas, passive area of conversion and the adopted measures for the recover and compensation for the passive environmental of these areas were collected. Furthermore, socio-environmental conditions in wich the project and the public politics that could be put on practice in order to guarantee the ecological and economical sustainability, in this way, providing the conditions for the sustainable development, were also approached.
