Bioenergia: Potenciais, Problemas E Decisões Para A Viabilização Social E Econômica

A demanda por biocombustíveis está crescendo no mundo todo por conta da preocupação como aquecimento global. Este processo oferece oportunidades para regiões ainda pouco desenvolvidas e para uma parcela de mão-de-obra não qualificada. Por outro lado é uma fonte com densidade energética alta, modifica substancialmente as externalidades negativas produzidas na atual oferta de energia, diminuindo o nível de emissão de gases. Mas por outro lado, existe o potencial de poluição a partir da produção deste novos produtos. Mas a produção de bio-combustíveis tem sido apontada como uma ameaça à produção de alimentos, na medida em que competirá por terras. Adicionalmente, percebem-se limitações na infra-estrutura de distribuição e na garantia de um fornecimento livre de sazonalidades, fundamental para sua adoção por parte de consumidores. O objetivo deste artigo, portanto, é expor os problemas e os benefícios e, em paralelo, apontar as correções para se potencializar ao máximo o aproveitamento dos bio-combustíveis. Para preencher este objetivo é realizada uma revisão da literatura do tema. Optou-se em dividir este artigo em cinco seções, sendo a primeira a introdução. Na segunda seção será apresentado o atual estado dos bio-combustíveis no mundo, destacando seus benefícios e políticas adotadas . Na terceira seção será a ocasião de apresentarmos os problemas que os bio-combustíveis ensejam. Na quarta seção serão apresentadas ações necessárias para maior implementação dos bio-combustíveis e o que já foi proposto para vencer seus problemas. Finalmente, na última seção serão estabelecidos comentários conclusivos à luz do que fora discutido nas seções precedentes. -------------------------------------The demand for biofuels is growing in the all world because of global heating. This process offers chances for regions that are still little developed and for a parcel of not qualified man power. On the other hand it is a source with high energy density, substantially modifies the produced negative externalities of the current offert of energy, diminishing the level of emission of gases. But on the other hand, the potential of pollution from the production of these new products exists. But the biofuel production has been pointed as a threat to the food production, in the measure where it will compete for lands. Additionally, limitations in the infrastructure of distribution and the guarantee of a constant supply are perceived, basic for its adoption on the part of consumers. The objective of this article, therefore, is to display the problems and the benefits and, in parallel, to point the corrections to obtain the maximum exploitation of biofuels. To fill this objective a revision of the literature of the subject is carried through. It was opted in dividing this article in five sections, being the first a introduction. In the second section the current state of bio-fuels in the world will be presented, detaching its benefits and adopted politics. In the third section it will be the occasion to present the problems that the bio-fuels try. In the fourth section necessary actions for bigger implementation of bio-fuels will be presented and what already it was considered to win its problems. Finally, in the last section conclusive commentaries to the light will be established of that it are argued in the preceding sections.
