Educação Cooperativa: A Experiência Do Programa Do Sicredi “A União Faz A Vida”

Abstract

Em se tratando do modelo cooperativista, várias são as particularidades que o diferencia dos demais modelos empresarias não cooperativos, dentre elas, uma das principais e talvez relegada a segundo plano pela maioria das cooperativas, é a educação cooperativa, mesmo sendo caracterizada por muitos autores como essencial para a sobrevivência e desenvolvimento do modelo. Neste sentido, o presente estudo busca apresentar algumas particularidades e a importância da educação cooperativa para o modelo cooperativo e para a cooperação de forma geral, para tal, toma-se algumas referências teóricas que dão suporte a metodologia utilizada na apresentação de uma experiência concreta de educação cooperativa, que é o programa “A União Faz a Vida”, o qual foi idealizado e implantado pelo SICREDI no ano de 1995, apresentando grande abrangência na atualidade, bem como, contribuições significativas segundo avaliações dos atores envolvidos. Em 2006 o programa atinge 101 municípios do Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso e Paraná, envolvendo mais de 144.200 alunos, 12.000 professores capacitados em 1.150 escolas e 200 parceiros públicos e privados.--------------------------------------------As to the cooperativism model, there are many particularities which make it different from the other non-cooperative models, among them one of the most important and perhaps relegated to a second plan by most of the cooperatives, that is, the cooperative education, even though it is characterized by many authors as essential for the survival and development of the model. This study aims at showing some particularities and the importance of education for the cooperative model and for the cooperation in general. So, some theoretical references giving support to the methodology used to present a concrete experience of cooperative education, which is the program “Alliance makes Life”, which was thought and implemented by SICREDI in 1995. Nowadays, it presents a wide spectrum as well as it gives significant contributions according evaluations of the involved authors. In 2006, the Program reached 101 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso and Paraná states, involving more than 144,200 students, 12,000 trained teachers in 1,150 schools e 200 public and private partners.
