Abstract

Os resultados observados sugerem que o processo de modificação sobre o ambiente físico que se verifica nestas localidades é influenciado por uma associação positiva que os agricultores em ambos os sistemas produtivos estabelecem entre estas ações e uma suposta melhoria nas suas condições de produção.-----------------------The study aborded in this article is aimed at verifying the relationship between the environment degradation process and the model of productive development established in the western part of Mato Grosso State, Brazil, taking as reference familiar and patronal producers in the localities of Pontes e Lacerda and Campos de Júlio, respectively. The limited efficiency in the control of the environment degradation processes related to the deforestation and fire in the forest where linked with the linear and disciplinary approach. The observed results suggest that the process of modification of this physical environment, which can be checked in these places is influenced by a positive association that the rural producers in both production systems established between these actions and a presumed improvement in their productive conditions.
