Abstract

The present work had as objective to analyze the dynamics of Brazilian agriculture, from the preliminary data of the farming Census of 2006 in relation to the Census of 1996. For in such a way, it was used methodology of spatial econometric, more specifically exploratory analysis of space data (AEDE) to verify the formation of space clusters, as well as, the occurred changes in the analyzed period. In short, it was verified existence of space dependence between the analyzed microregions, thus, regions that in 1996 were intensive in the use of land, work and tractors, in 2006 had tended to remain with the same characteristics, besides influencing positively its neighboring regions. Moreover, an inverse relation was verified enters the number of workers with bows of kinships and the variable used area and tractors, thus detaching, a process of increase of use of areas with intensive use of capital (tractor) and hand of contracted workmanship.
