Espace agricole et production de viandes bovine et ovine dans la région semi-aride algérienne

Abstract

En Algérie du point de vue gestion des bovins et ovins, l’alimentation constitue une contrainte de la conduite du cheptel [1]. Dans la région de Chlef, la base des productions de viandes bovine et ovine, est constituée en plus des parcours, de la céréaliculture et des fourrages. L’objectif de cette étude est d’examiner la relation entre espace agricole et les productions de viandes bovine et ovine. Les animaux changent plusieurs fois de mains au cours de leur vie avant d'être abattus ; mais la dernière vente pour l'abattage, a lieu très généralement sur le marché [2]. Les 2/3 des terres de la SAU est destinés à l’alimentation animale Les rapports de prix viandes céréales, sont restés presque les mêmes, se situant autours de 20. Ainsi, les prix garantis à la production pour les blés ont augmenté beaucoup plus que les prix des viandes sur le marché libre. La valeur des productions animales représente 1/3, contre 2/3 pour les productions végétales.
