Produção de sementes de culturas alimentares na região da SADC

Abstract

Criado para tratar os temas que limitam o acesso de fazendeiros em pequena escala, na África sub-Saara, para que possuam recursos para obterem colheitas de sementes de qualidade, das quais eles dependem para a obtenção dos alimentos e é o seu próprio meio de vida. Esta coleção de artigos descreve os princípios bem sucedidos para as experiências em comunidades que possuem produções de sementes. Entre outras coisas, os textos analisarão o sistema de produção normal de sementes e seus modelos, proporão caminhos para criar esquemas bem sucedidos para as comunidades que produzam sementes, descreverão as práticas próprias da produção de sementes para cereais seletos, plantas vegetativamente propagadas e outras colheitas, e esquematizarão as práticas básicas de negócios para os produtores de sementes.
