Reemplazo De La Harina De Pescado Por Harina De Subproductos Avicolas En Dietas Para Tilapia Roja

Abstract

El reemplazo de la harina de pescado (HP) por harina de subproductos avicolas (HSPA) se avaluô en 27 acuarios de 80 litros de capacidad, durante 42 dias. Se formularon dietas iso-nitrogenadas e iso-calôricas con dos niveles de proteina (36 y 26%). Se utilizaron 14 tilapias rojas, con un peso promedio inicial de 6.7 g. Los niveles de sustituciôn fueron 0, 33, 67 y 100%. Las dietas fueron comparadas con un alimento comercial que contenia un 30% de proteina cruda y 511 Kcal ED/100 g. Las siguientes variables fueron determinados: mortalidad, lipido ganado, proteina, peso ganado, consumo y conversion aparente de alimento, energia y tasa de proteina retenida. Los niveles de proteina 36 y 26% no mostraron diferencia con respecto al promedio del porcentaje de mortalidad (7.14±3.90 y 7.74±5.81%), el lipido ganado (0.25±0.13 y 0.25±0.12 g), la energia cruda dietética (610±2.30 y 578±2.43 kcal/100 g), la energia total ingerida (608±4.12 y 577±4.40 kcal/100 g) y el porcentaje de energia retenida (19.1±2.42 y 17.7±3.12%), respectivamente. Para ambos niveles de proteina la sustituciôn del 33% no tuvo diferencia significativa con respecto al alimento ingerido (213.5±12.65 y 170.9±12.38 g), el factor de conversion aparente del alimento (1.38±0.05 y 1.42±0.17), la proteina ganada (23.47±4.630 y 19.62±3.080 g), el porcentaje de proteina depositada (30.3±4.28 y 44.6±3.64%). Los peces que consumieron las dietas de 36% de proteina tuvieron un mâs bajo promedio de razôn de eficiencia protéica (1.87±0.10) que los peces que se alimentären con las dietas de 26% de proteina (2.52±0.34). Estos datos sugieren que es posible un reemplazo del 33% de HP por la HSPA sin que cause algùn efecto adverso al factor de conversiôn del alimento.
