EVALUACION DE LOS EFECTOS SECUNDARIOS DE INSECTICIDAS QUIMICOS Y BIOLOGICOS SOBRE Encarsia transvena (TIMBERLAKE)'

Abstract

Con el fin de estudiar el efecto de insecticidas empleados en el control de 'moscas blancas' (Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) sobre el controlador biolôgico Encarsia transvena se usô, para pruebas de laboratorio, la parte inicial del esquema secuencial de clasificaciôn propuesto por la OEPP/EPPO (1994). Se determinô el efecto secundario de 19 insecticidas aplicados a las dosis mâs altas recomendadas sobre la reproduction del parasitoide mediante la exposition de adultos de E. transvena a residuos frescos de Ios diferentes tratamientos. Los insecticidas botànicos de Nim (Azadirachta indica) NeemAzal®T/S y Azatin®; los micoinsecticidas Vertisol®, Mycotal® (ambos Veirticillium lecanii), Pf-TRI-1 (Paecilomyces fumosoroseus, cepa Trinidad), Vektor® (Entomcphthora virulenta) y el jabôn insecticida Safer®) permitieron una reproducciôn mayor al 50% con relation al testigo, pudiéndose clasificar como insecticidas no nocivos al parasitoide. Los productos Buprofezîn (Applaud®), Aceite de Nim (Ace-Nim®) y Diafenthiuron (Pegasus®) redujeron la reproducciôn en mâs de 50% con relaciôn al testigo, teniendo que pasar a una segunda prueba (efecto de contacto sobre las pupas) donde tuvieron mortalidad menor al 50% con relaciôn al testigo clasificando asi como no nocivos a E. transvena. Los insecticidas Imidacloprid (Confidor®), Endosulfan (Thionex®), Metamidofos (Monitor®), Fenpropatrina (Danitol®), Metomilo (Lannate®), Amitraz (Mitac®), el Micoinsecticida de Beauveria bassiana (Naturalis®) y Aceite agricola (Virol®) los parasitoides murieron al cabo de media, hora con la excepciôn del ΕΑΝ donde diez sobrevivieron un poco mâs de media hora, en ninguno de Ios casos hubo reproduction; estos fueron clasificados como nocivos a E.transvena.
