CARACTERIZACION DE RIZOBACTERIAS DE LA Mucuna deeringiana Y EL PLATANERO

Abstract

Muestras de suelo y raices tomadas de parcelas con mucuna, platanero y mucuna-platanero en asociaciôn fueron evaluadas con el objetîvo de determinar poblaciones de bacterias de la rizosfera. Las rizobacterias se aislaron en Agar de Soya Tripticasa al 5% usando el método de dilution seriada. Posteriormente, se aislaron y purificaron 10 rizobacterias de la mucuna (6 Gram-negativas, y 4 Gram-positivas) y 7 rizobacterias del platanero (4 Gram-negativas y 3 Gram-positivas) para un total de 17 bacterias aisladas. Se realizô la tinciôn de esporas con oxalato verde de malaquita al 5%, a sie te bacterias Grampositivas, determinàndose dos rizobacterias formadoras de esporas. Estudios in vitro demostraron que dos de las bacterias identifïcadas como Gram-negativas presentaron un efecto atrayente a nematodos del platanero. Sin embargo, rizobacterias Gram-positivas no mostraron atracciôn ai nematodo. Los resultados sugieren que bacterias provenientes de la rizosfera de mucuna y platanero podrian estar relacionadas con la supresiôn ο atracciôn de nematodos. El aislar y cuantificar componentes de la rizosfera con posibles propiedades antagonlstas podrian résulter en una nueva alternativa para el manejo de nematodos en el platanero.
