Les recherches en Protection des Plantes a l'INRA Antilles-Guyane : Priorites 1993- 1995

Abstract

Les recherches de base indispensables a l' etablissement de strategies durables de lutte integree sont menees a l'INRA en Guadeloupe, en collaboration etroite avec les autres organismes de recherche agronomique presents dans la region (CIRAD*, ORSTOM*), ainsi qu'avec le Service de la Protection des Vegetaux. Les priorites portent, d'une part, sur une connaissance approfondie des pathogenes et ravageurs ainsi que de leurs regulateurs naturels, et d'autre part, sur la recherche de resistances aux maladies et invertebres chez les plantes cultivees. Les recherches amenent a prendre en compte, dans le cadre de strategies raisonnees experimentees par le GRISP*, les differentes methodes de protection des cultures, qu'elles soient chimiques, genetiques, biologiques ou culturales. La cooperation regionale intra-caraibe est une priorite qui peut encore etre developpee avec une aide accrue de la C.E.E. * .
