Enemigos Naturales del Falso Medidor de la Soya Pseudoplusia includens (Walker) (Lepidóptera: Nocturidae) en Puerto Rico

Abstract

En la zona sur de Puerto Rico el falso medidor de la soya, Pseudoplusia includens (Walker) es una dt: las plagas más dañinas en el cultivo de las hortalizas (berenjena, pimiento, batata y tomate). El daño de esta larva es en toda la planta (hojas y frutas) de estos cultivos. Durante un año(de octubre de- 1990 hasta octubre de 1991) se hizo un catastro en la zona sur de Puerto Rico para determinar los enemigos naturales dd falso medidor de la soya. En este catastro se encontraron los siguientes enemigos naturales, Glyptapanteles sp. (Cameron) y Cotesia sp. (Hymenoptera Braconidae), Copidosoma floridanum (Ashrnead) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), Voria ruralis (Diptera:Tachinidae) y los depredadores: Hew sp. (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) y la avispa Polistes Crinitus americanus (F.) (Hymenoptera: Vespidae).
