Abstract

This paper measures the theoretical impact of exchange rate changes on equilibrium price and quantity. Reduced form impacts (changes in equilibrium values) are restated for the familiar two country-one commodity free trade model. The free trade model is then modified to encompass the trade restrictions of the European Economic Community and reduced form impacts are determined. The results of the free trade model and restricted model are compared.
