Considerations For Extension Low-Income Program Design: Results Of A Preliminary Survey

Abstract

The Cooperative Extension Service has been given the.charge to develop programs for delivery to the rural poor. Several states are now in the midst of pilot efforts to develop such programs. This paper reports on the results pf such a pilot project in Oregon with the assumption that the approach taken has implications for the development of low-income programs in other states as well.
