Le Chomage des Jeunes et l'Instabilite Politique en Cote d'Ivoire

Abstract

L'objectif de cette etude est d'analyser le lien entre le chomage des jeunes et l'instabilite politique en Cote d'Ivoire. Pour atteindre cet objectif, nous avons utilise une approche regionale pour mener une analyse sur la relation entre l'instabilite politique et le chomage des jeunes en Cote d'Ivoire et nous avons developpe une methode pour calculer l'indicateur d'instabilite politique. Des methodes analytiques, descriptives et econometriques ont ete utilisees pour analyser les donnees des enquetes menees par rapport aux niveaux de vie des menages ainsi que des enquetes sur l'emploi. Les resultats indiquent qu'en considerant les personnes agees de 15 a 24 ans comme des jeunes uniquement, on risque de sous-estimer le chomage des jeunes et l'impact des politiques visant a lutter contre le chomage des jeunes. Les statistiques ont egalement revele un niveau tres eleve de chomage des jeunes. Les resultats de l'estimation econometrique ont egalement montre une relation positive et significative entre le chomage des jeunes et l'instabilite politique.
