Potenciales oportunidades para una mayor diversificación exportadora de la provincia de Santa Fe

Abstract

Este trabajo identifica una posible matriz exportadora de la provincia de Santa Fe que le permita incrementar y diversificar su inserción externa, teniendo en cuenta dos aspectos fundamentales, las capacidades involucradas en la elaboración de un producto y el dinamismo de la demanda externa. El primero se basa en datos del Atlas de Complejidad Económica (ACE) y el segundo en la matriz de competitividad de CEPAL. De acuerdo a estos aspectos las principales oportunidades se concentran en los rubros Químicos, Agricultura, y Maquinaria, destacándose en los primeros: biodiesel, herbicidas e insecticidas, sales de amonio y ácidos industriales; Quesos, malta y preparaciones de carne en los segundos y partes de motores, equipos de laboratorio y maquinaria agropecuaria en los últimos. En un análisis sectorial incorporando indicadores de desempeño exportador, empleo, remuneraciones, importancia PyME, entre otros; la fabricación de: productos químicos; productos farmacéuticos, instrumentos de precisión, maquinaria agropecuaria y plaguicidas, herbicidas etc. lideran el ranking. Dicho ordenamiento podría eventualmente ser un insumo para lineamientos de políticas de desarrollo productivo y/o promoción de exportaciones.
