La irrelevacia del primer mejor (definitivamente, prefiero lo bueno a lo mejor)

Abstract

Pensando en Argentina a partir del 10 de diciembre de 2023, me parece mucho más útil plantear cómo se puede pasar del “noveno mejor” al “tercer mejor”, que concentrar esfuerzos en el “primer mejor”. Ejemplo: no se puede abrir la economía sin eliminar, de manera simultánea, las distorsiones internas; como tampoco se puede abrir la economía ignorando que un país productor de alimentos, tiene conflictos distributivos. Una apertura de la economía que llegue para quedarse, es algo más complejo que la simple eliminación de las barreras al comercio.
