Abstract

En 2025 y 2026 realizamos un experimento en cinco ciudades de Colombia para entender cómo las personas piensan la cooperación y qué ocurre cuando tienen la oportunidad de practicarla. A partir del juego cooperativo Melting Planet, analizamos cambios en percepciones, preferencias y comportamientos entre grupos de tratamiento y control. Encontramos que la cooperación se asocia con ideas positivas como ayuda, apoyo y trabajo en equipo, y que participar en una experiencia cooperativa puede aumentar la preferencia por el trabajo en equipo, mejorar el desempeño dentro del juego y fortalecer la disposición a aportar al bien común. En conjunto, los resultados sugieren que la cooperación no es solo un valor, sino también una capacidad práctica que puede aprenderse y fortalecerse con la experiencia.
