Abstract

There is no denying that climate change is a serious and urgent problem that everyone has a stake in. The UN report on climate change warns that the time to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius is “now or never,” as the IPCC report written by leading scientists laid bare the fact that there was a “yawning gap between climate pledges and reality.” In the age of digital transformation, the finance industry has the technological tools to contribute to sustainable goals by helping firms transform into greener businesses with more sustainable operations. “Building a Sustainable Future: Exploring Green Finance, Regenerative Finance, and Green Financial Technology” discusses how green financial technology (“green fintech”) leverages technology to support sustainable finance; it also reviews the latest advancements in green technologies and how they are utilized to mitigate the effects of climate change…
