Abstract

This research conducts an econometric analysis of factors influencing the economic stability of enterprises in Uzbekistan’s chemical industry. The authors analyzed annual statistics from 2000 to 2021, covering sectors such as mining, food production, chemical manufacturing, rubber and plastic products, and other non-ferrous mineral products. A pairwise correlation matrix was developed to evaluate the relationships among influencing factors, confirming the absence of multicollinearity. Additionally, the Breusch–Godfrey and White tests were employed to assess autocorrelation in the regression model. The analysis revealed that an increase in the number of individuals employed in the industry positively impacts per capita capital investments and significantly boosts the production volume of chemical goods. Furthermore, the findings indicate that a one-unit increase in innovative activity leads to a 1.04-unit rise in chemical product output. Similarly, every additional 1000 specialists graduating from higher education institutions contributes to an increase of 1.04 billion soums in chemical product output.
