Abstract

Monte Carlo simulations of project schedules have become one of the foundations of quantitative project risk analysis. In this chapter, we will learn everything you need to know about Monte Carlo simulations and how to perform them, even if you have never heard about it before. This will include a number of important concepts related to the Monte Carlo methodology, such as statistical distributions, sampling, conversions, and more.
