Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to present the similarities and differences in the field of extracurricular activities, comparing universities from Germany with those from Romania, with a purpose to identify the potential innovative leisure activities that can be implemented at the Romanian universities. Also the influence of the extracurricular activities on the attractiveness of the university and the potential factors that could increase the university image will be identified. This study gives recommendations for increasing the attractiveness of the study area through the development of extracurricular activities at Romanian universities.
