Abstract

“Kan Zhong Yi” is a mobile app designed to reserve Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors for home visits. Based on the operation experience of the offline TCM hospital, rich TCM resources, and deep understanding of the TCM market, “Kan Zhong Yi” has been integrating a mobile-based operation and product model with traditional TCM services. The online and offline, dual-core powered mobile healthcare model of “Kan Zhong Yi” is gaining a growing user acceptance and popularizing the TCM. December 2015 signaled a downward spiral in Internet Venture Capital, seeing virtually zero projects for O2O Home Health. Contrastingly, “Kan Zhong Yi”, a mobile app focused on TCM service experienced major success, receiving the largest funding in the TCM mobile app financing history. “Kan Zhong Yi” employed its offline operating experience in medical institutions, TCM resources, and understanding of TCM market, and used these advantages to build a mobile app, with the goal of allowing patients to receive diagnostics offline and receiving their health reports and evaluations online.
