Upgrading Imagination

Abstract

All things concerning a human being’s imagination are controlled by that individual’s brain. Most likely, a dog or spider may well have their own imagination. However, we can only speculate, as Kafka did in his metamorphosis, as to what those imaginations consist of. It is highly probable though that they would relate to that creature’s experiences and life. Clearly though they would be directly dependent on the number of brain cells involved and the connectivity of those cells. Obviously, the different sensory inputs and motor outputs that the individual has will limit certain imaginations whilst enabling others. A water spider spends its life traveling up and down inside a bubble in water. What is its imagination like…
