The Formal Logic

Abstract

Often we need to be able to derive conclusions from the facts we already know. The process of making such conclusions is governed by the rules of formal logic. The formal logic does not allow us to arrive at new knowledge, i.e., we cannot learn the laws of physics from the logic alone. It only allows us to draw all the conclusions from what we already know.
