Abstract

The scope of this paper is to study (i) the respects in which production relationships modelled as networks can also be described through dynamic activity vectors when a large-scale project is implemented, and (ii) the extent to which disposition efficiency and performance efficiency are harmonic or in conflict to each other in these cases. In production of this nature like, for example, shipbuilding or bridge construction, in which the logical sequence of operations and the minimal time of completion are modelled and planned by network analysis approaches, normally only one unit of a single product is manufactured. Usually there are hardly any independent or even marketable semi-finished products.
