Understanding Balance Sheets

Abstract

A balance sheet is a snapshot of a company’s cumulative financial position at a particular point in time. It answers the question of “what is the company’s financial position at the end of the period?”. It is also referred to as Statement of Financial Position or Statement of Financial Condition.
