Abstract

What’s more important: price or time? Ask the floor traders from the old open outcry trading pits and they will tell you price is more important than time, so they recorded trading activity with a point and figure chart, noting X and O for up and down price movements. Equity trades prefer price and time, so standard market charts have one candle displayed for each selected time segment and a time scale at the bottom of the chart…
