Abstract

Italy in 2006, Spain in 2010, and Germany in 2014. All were FIFA World Cup one-time champions with no repeat performances since their tournament wins. In 2018, Italy didn’t even get a spot in the World Cup group stage while Germany and Spain were eliminated in the first round. Maybe these teams relied on the same “winning” strategies while their opponents improved. Likewise in trading, the same strategy from four years or even four days ago might not work today. Markets change and we need to adapt our trading to suit the environment we trade in…
