Abstract

Dummy bombing runs were good enough for B17 pilots, but modern pilots training to fly a giant A380 need sophisticated flight simulators. Likewise, simulated trading is good training for traders even if it’s sold as a game. Gaming is not a sideshow. Globally, it’s a bigger business than Hollywood. Professional “games” give you confidence in the pilot managing your A380 flight because you know he is well past learning by trial and error…
