Abstract

When reading all kinds of financial or economic papers, you often will come across reports about the money supply. So, how is money supplied in the economic system? Or, does the entire money supply come from the central bank's printing press? What kind of role do individuals and businesses have in the money supply of the entire society? After studying this chapter, you will have a clear understanding of these different issues.
