Abstract

The author analyses the provisions of the new Act on Insolvency and the Method of Its Resolution. On the basis of the analysis he takes the view concerning the future redevelopment method in Czech law and above all its application in economic practice. The author claims that economic practice prefers liquidation proceedings principle (bankruptcy) and therefore the redevelopment principle is not very likely to obtain a more decisive part in resoluting company failures in the near future.
