Abstract

School is a place where all of the employees endeavour for the student's success and school's good reputation as well as try to raise the students to be patient, honest, understanding and respectful. At our branch primary school Struge, we are very good at achieving this for the head teacher, parents and all of the employees are aware that the school in such a small district is also a centre of cultural and social life. This is why teachers and students organize yearly events where we can connect with the local residents. This type of events have already become traditional. We collect paper for recycling, make Advent wreaths, bake honey biscuits, have a hike for children and their grandparents, pay a visit to the local retirement home as well as regularly cooperate with volunteer firemen and our local priest. This kind of cooperation is enriching and it instils hope for the future of our branch primary school.
