Abstract

In the School centre Novo mesto, the Secondary school for electrical engineering and technical gymnasium we have been organizing technical days for primary school pupils since 2010. The primary objective came to life and has become a regularity in the promotion of technology and natural sciences for primary schools of the municipality of Novo mesto as well as other municipalities of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina. Technical days have thus become a good practice example of learning and teaching, a stimulating learning environment and an encouraging co-operation between schools and the environment. After the analysis we have established that technical days represent an incubator of technology and natural sciences for further education.
