Abstract

These days, there is so much competition in small businesses, and the production management has become important to all of these businesses, as it is capable to reduce the cost of operation, improve productivity and competitiveness for companies. However, majority of the factories generally didn't have the system to monitor its production status, cause the manufacturing of the product does not meet the scheduled plans or customer due date. Therefore, the researchers have created and used internet based calendar as a main database to monitor the production progress. Nowadays, the internet based calendar such as google calendar or outlook calendar has become more well-known and anyone can use it without being charged. A monitoring algorithms are developed to interact with these internet based calendars to report the production status versus production plans. Thus, the problems can be quickly and early detected and allowed user can search for alternative as soon as problem occurs. As a results, the user (production planner) can quickly solved the problem than without such as system.
