Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the role of technology parks (TP) functioning in Poland in supporting enterprises implementing new technologies. The article reveals the pro-innovative package of primary and additional services realized by TP. Then its use was recognized in practice of enterprises with business activity in technological parks and outside them. It was established that currently, TP activity in Poland in the primary area of service is almost identical. It is becoming more diverse in the area of pro-developmental services. This is a manifestation of striving to specialize individual parks which is also reflected in a proactive reconfiguring of these parks' offers. The usefulness of park offers dedicated to enterprises implementing innovations shows that TP in Poland are an instrument of creating a friendly environment for the development of an innovative business. They reduce the road of innovation to the market, often first contributing to its creation.
