Cooperation Between Academic And Business Areas - Condition To Meet Challenges Of Efficient Knowledge Based Society

Abstract

We live in a century where globalization and internationalization of higher education are real, booming phenomenon. Components of the "knowledge triangle" in the Republic of Moldova, is a requirement for the country's development process. Thus, a good cooperation of these components with business area, would lead to sustainable economic growth, and indispensable to the welfare and excellence for society. In order to monitor professional development of graduates with master and PHD degrees on labor market we exchanged information with managers of business in order to improve educational activities, research and innovation in line with labor market needs. In order to emphasize the need to improve communication between academia and business areas we have developed a questionnaire. The sample from which was collected information was consisted of 70 entities from different industries and different legal forms. The research findings spotlight the real situation in the communication and cooperation between these two environments.
