Abstract

With the progression of reliability engineering, high reliability has increasingly become a fundamental requirement for product development across all stakeholders. Reliability is systematically integrated into design, production, and management processes. The reliability objectives established during the design phase must be realized through appropriate manufacturing practices. This study seeks to elucidate the concept and connotation of reliability assurance throughout the product development lifecycle and constructs a reliability assurance system for product development. The proposed system delineates specific work items along with their implementation guidelines, offering both management decision-making support and technical engineering foundations to effectively ensure the fulfillment of product reliability objectives.
