Abstract

SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) was launched in February 2025 as part of the Business Unleash event. BDC uses its integration capability to create a trusted data platform, uses the power of AI to automate many manual tasks along with forecasting scenarios, and performs the data visualization using a strong cloud-based reporting environment. It has everything that is needed to run a business operation with transparent licenses, strong data federation techniques, and business semantics at any level. Along with launching a new platform, SAP provides a long-term strategy to modernize the existing landscape by moving on-premise warehousing solutions to the cloud. It is a highly recommended product when an organization has a long-term cloud strategy and is on S/4 HANA or moving into S/4 HANA.
