Abstract

SAP Business Warehouse launched in 1998 with version BIW 1.2 A. Over a period of time, several innovations happened in this space. BIW was replaced by BI followed by HANA DB (on HANA), and then finally BW/4 HANA version was released with an add-on for FIORI. The application improved a lot over two decades, as shown in Table 1-1.
