Abstract

In the technological set-up, the changes experienced by the metaverse are crucial and need emphasis to understand the concept in a well-defined manner. Blockchain technology has acted as a building block of the metaverse that exists to track orders, payments, accounts, and production. Also, digital twinning acts as a virtual model of the product and service which is also becoming an essential block of the metaverse. Apart from the above mentioned concepts, this chapter also discusses a multiverse which is a hypothetical collection of different virtual worlds. Though its existence is questionable, its discussion becomes important while discussing the virtual world. Hyperautomation is another concept that needs exposure along with the metaverse that this chapter covers in brief.
