Abstract

Women scientists voice, is it being articulated and heard? In chapter 6 we look at whether or not women scientists are being recognized in ways that credit them with their successes. Historically this was not the case. What are the professional trajectories of women scientists like now? What sort of obstacles and rewards did they now experience? Do they get scientific awards? Are they credited for their labour appropriately when collective work is published? What sort of effect, and what are the repercussions, when they speak their mind?
