Abstract

Through sorting out the current situation and predicting and analyzing the non-performing asset market in Guangdong Province, we generally believe that its development potential of is large, but the overall market is at a relatively early stage, and it is necessary to stimulate the regional market vitality through the introduction of overseas professional institutions to promote the benign development. Macao can consider utilizing this opportunity to build itself as a “bridgehead” for overseas professional non-performing asset investment institutions, and join hands with Zhuhai to build a model cooperation zone for cross-border investment in non-performing assets by promoting cross-border acquisition and disposal of non-performing assets, cross-border cooperation in non-performing asset investment funds and cross-border investment in high-yield bonds.
