Abstract

Administrative leadership is one of the basic pillars that directly affects the effectiveness of decisions taken in institutions. This study aims to analyze the role of different administrative leadership styles, such as transformational, transactional, and ethical leadership, in improving the quality of decisions and enhancing institutional performance. The study relies on an analytical methodology that reviews relevant literature and links the main characteristics of each leadership style to its impact on the decision-making process. The results indicate that transactional and transformational leadership contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of decisions by encouraging creativity, enhancing cooperation, and empowering employees, while ethical leadership may lead to faster decisions but may be less comprehensive. The study recommends adopting a flexible leadership approach that is compatible with the nature of the institution and its environment to ensure the achievement of high-quality decisions that support the institution's strategic goals.
