Indoctrination

Abstract

The fifth way people practice politicking is indoctrination. This can also take many forms. It's used here, however, to highlight the mental nature of the human nurturing environment, and the way those who control today's technology control the ideas, values, and norms that people share. It means constructing their whole social reality by constructing what they understand, esteem, and accept. In the modern world, this is used to obscure the alienation that science, technology, and industry cause. It's also used to promote these radical change agents, as well as the markets, the nations, and the states they represent.
