Abstract

This chapter summarizes the results of the chapters of this book and outlines further research required based on the results and methods utilized. Special reference is given to the PoPE contingency paradigm, the new long wave model, and the future of the world system based on long wave, hegemony, and climate change (LWHegCC) dynamics. We then outline the stylized facts (SFs) and rules of thumb that emerge from this study, which should be the basis of future work, following the guidelines of this current book.
