Abstract

The paper aims at synchronizing the global usage of blockchain technology to make people benefit by encouraging crowdfunding platforms in research and providing output to strengthen digital financial inclusion (DFI). The researcher has compared five crowdfunding platforms in India to analyze the growth of financial services sector in the current scenario. It is mainly a review paper which includes bibliometric analysis of the researches that has been done in the fields of Blockchain Technology (BCT) and crowdfunding with DFIs and financial technology. This study is descriptive in nature and has been designed to correlate efficiently the blockchain technology in crowdfunding. The systematic review by means of bibliometric analysis has been executed with the help of the Population/Problem Intervention Comparison Outcome (PICO) model regarding DFIs and BCT crowdfunding in India. Secondary data has been reviewed to produce a gist after reading financial reports from Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Financial Technology (FinTech), etc. More than 250 papers/articles have been taken into consideration to enhance the review base as a whole ranging from 2006 to 2021 which will be mentioned in the study accordingly. Few studies have been conducted to allocate crowdfunding platforms and its positioning in India. This study will strengthen the base related to blockchain crowdfunding and its impact on the consumers, market and economy as a whole. Limitations will be mentioned at the end of this paper.
