Abstract

In this chapter, we will present surface integral equations for electromagnetic scattering. Galerkin methods using mixed vector–scalar potentials and Nyström collocation methods using hyper-singular formulation will be discussed. Also, we will discuss the issue of removing resonance from cavity modes with a combined integral equation approach. Finally, the high-order Rao–Wilton–Glisson (RWG) current basis for the Galerkin methods will be given. The volume integral equation method for Maxwell’s equations will be discussed in Sect. 14.4 .
