Abstract

Digital technologies like blockchain, internet of things, smart devices, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, digital health records, and big data are transforming the sustainable healthcare system. The chapter discusses the different digital technologies in the sustainable healthcare, the link between digital transformation and sustainable healthcare, the challenges in the adoption of digital technologies for sustainable healthcare, and the key solutions for adoption to overcome the challenges in sustainable healthcare. In nutshell, the role of digital technologies in quality improvement for a sustainable healthcare system is addressed along with a future outlook.
