Abstract

This chapter summarizes our research conclusions, presents corresponding insights and provides research prospects. We should objectively and comprehensively understand the comprehensive impact of green trade barriers. Although green trade barriers may bring difficulties in the short term, from a longer-term perspective, they also provide new opportunities for export manufacturing enterprises to re-examine their pollution emission control and green technology innovation capabilities. In addition to verifying the specific impact of the green trade barriers, this study further highlights the role of technological progress and resource allocation in reducing pollution emissions and stimulating green innovation. Moreover, due to the existence of heterogeneity, this impact also varies greatly in different contexts. Policy recommendations emphasize the need for export manufacturing enterprises to optimize production processes and invest in green technologies to adapt to global green trade trends, while governments should take targeted measures to provide financial support and optimize resources for cleaner industries. We also suggests future research could improve measurement techniques and examine long-term environmental impacts.
